ABOUT US

THE ZUCKER'S
BAGELS STORY
Zucker’s is a New York City bagel institution founded in 2007. We make bagels every morning the old-fashioned way: hand-rolled and kettle-boiled, using natural ingredients. With coffee, smoked fish and many other high-quality ingredients sourced directly from a roster of incredible vendors, our mission is to give you the best New York City bagel experience.
Our shops offer pick-up, delivery & catering available to order through our app and website, along with popular third-party platforms. Many of our shops offer seating for up to 50, and when you eat with Zucker’s you’ll be surrounded by handmade art and unique design features.
We also bring the NYC bagel experience to your door through nationwide overnight shipping. Enjoy our hand-rolled bagels & brunch kits for yourself, or send a gift to friends & corporate customers.

OUR BAGELS
We make bagels the way that New York bagels should be made, starting with natural flours -- unbromated and unbleached -- for the most authentic flavor. We sweeten them with a touch of malt and hand-roll bagels every morning before kettle-boiling and baking fresh and hot every morning at every shop.
Our classic bagels have a golden brown exterior, a dense chewy interior, and are generously seeded on both sides - no skimping! We also offer our bagels partially baked to ship nationwide to enjoy your own baking experience in your home kitchen. View our Bagel FAQ’s here.
OUR COMMUNITY
We invest in our community by supporting several local organizations, schools and sports teams in the many neighborhoods where we do business.
Zucker's is proud to partner with The Bowery Mission, which provides homeless and hungry New Yorkers with meals and services to help transform their lives. We provide 200,000+ bagel breakfasts per year to The Bowery Mission along with regular donations to our friends at City Harvest and The Grand Central Partnership.

OUR TEAM
Partners Matt Pomerantz and Dan Pace pursue a love of bagels and a welcoming fast casual experience at Zucker's. Matt is a native New Yorker who named Zucker's after his mother. He grew up in the retail business as part of his family's Lower East Side clothing business, and his formative years were spent eating at famous New York eateries and bussing tables in classic Catskills restaurants. Matt has worked in the bagel business for more than 30 years.
Dan is a New Jersey native who joined his friend and former colleague Matt in 2012, with the goal of bringing the Zucker's experience to more neighborhoods throughout New York City. Dan worked in Public Accounting and on Wall Street for many years in New York, Tokyo and London before joining Matt at Zucker’s.
